This is clarifying: the plan is not to sand i.e. start over. The
plan is to buff/roughen the surface and add two coats. <br>

held off on bringing together since I'd rather figure out what makes a good
plan for you. I'll call you tomorrow and see what we can figure out :)

<pre wrap="">Hi Torrie,
I'm no expert. I did sand the floors in my own flat. I was amazed at the
unbelievable amount of dust the sander created. After it was over,
everything needed a major cleaning. Before it started, I removed as many
things as possible from the rooms.
If you plan to sand NB in sections consider buying plastic sheets and
taping off areas floor to ceiling where you'll be sanding to try to keep
the dust in those areas.
We can work together so we trade off work in different areas.
Give me a call or lets try to meet so we can coordinate.

<pre wrap="">Hiya, Neil!
I was planning on starting on sanding the floor Thursday evening to
refinish it, but if that would cause issues or introduce unnecessary
constraints please let me know. Its not a big deal to delay it 'till this
weekend.

<pre wrap="">No worries, sanding the shop can wait.
There are plans to sand the floors of part of the main space starting on
Thursday evening, will this work as long as your tools are covered and
away
from the sanding zone?
Torrie sent an email to the build list to check if starting on Thursday
at
1800 was okay with everyone. I don't know if you are subscribed to that
mailing list. I am copying Torrie on this message.

<pre wrap=""> Hi Jerrod,
I got most of the pipe installed in the shop today. I will get the rest
tomorow along with pulling the wire and putting on the covers. I'd ask
you
to refrain from sanding until after as the dust tends to get into
everything. If you really want to sand, please take my tools etc out of
the
space.
thanks so much.

Considering that I have never done drywall work and will be learning
as
I go, anyone who can teach these skills would be really appreciated. It
would be a cool bonus if a short drywall installing, mudding, and taping
class could be held for others who are interested. Even so, anyone
willing
to learn/figure out how to do this with me is welcome.
I will be collecting whatever tools and materials we have for drywall
work, and purchasing others. So if you need to do drywall/carpentry work
outside the shop they should be available in the space. If you have
tools
that can be lendt, please let me know as well, as well as any
recommendations for purchases/materials.
Cheers.
