<div>Got my first look at a BrainPort yesterday. Interestingly, this enclosure appeared to be 3D printed rather than injection molded (the resolution was quite fine, so a really nice quality 3D printer). It's an expensive device, apparently these cost around $7k each.</div><div><br></div><div>The owner said that while you can use it to make out letter and such, other things such as navigating hallways or trying to find walls are more challenging.
