Support Technician - Tier I
Job Title: Support Technician - Tier I
Work Days: Monday - Friday, between 9am - 6pm
Shift: Days
Shift Length: 8 Hours
Job Summary
Offering tier one support for 3D printers through Zendesk over email.
Duties include:
-
Answer support tickets in Zendesk : diagnose, test, and solve customer's
3D printer issues
-
Use web applications for work tasks : Inventory management, Shipping
-
Ship replacement parts
-
Monitor the forums and message boards : Assist users who haven't found
Zendesk.
-
Writing forum articles : Provide 3D printing recommended practices,
tips, and techniques
-
Return customer support voice calls
Required qualifications
-
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
-
Highly organized, able to multi-task, and demonstrate success working
onsite in a fast paced environment.
-
Ability to work with people from diverse communities.
-
A positive attitude and terrible sense of humor.
-
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and handle complex tasks.
-
Excellent attention to detail.
-
Fluency in both oral and written English
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with fused filament 3D printing and/or 3D modeling a plus
-
Experience with Linux working from a command line
-
Experience with embedded electronics - BeageleBone Black, RaspberryPi,
Arduino
-
Experience with web design, forum moderation, social networking
-
Experience with video editing
-
Experience with ping-pong or skateboarding a plus
-
Additional written/spoken languages a plus
