<div dir="ltr">I'm with Jonas on this one. I think the space has potential, but I have reservations.. I don't think we can make that space work unless we can get some significant piece of the big room set aside for our stuff. The little dedicated room isn't big enough to hold the materials and tools that we need unless we make it pure storage space, and the hassle of moving all tools and materials back and forth between a storage room and the usable work area is significant. Michael seemed to have the idea that we'd fully integrate with his existing scene, to the point that when we mentioned the little space as private he said something along the lines of "I'd like to think we can all move around freely but if you want that to yourselves that's fine too..." I think his existing scene is a cool and interesting one, but I don' think it's necessarily noisebridge. That said, he's an interesting character, he seems to like us, and the possibility of very large large parties is attractive. It was not love at first sight, and I do have misgivings about sharing space with a very involved landlord. Let's look more and see what other options present themselves.<br>

<br>In general, if there is hesitations and reservations this early when looking at a place, I would be very careful. I think we'll know and have a wow-feeling when the space is right! When I saw Rachel's place, I had a little bit of that... But I think it's a bit occupied ;-).<br>

Michael, the landlord (for lack of a better term) is looking to make a decision fairly soon as his space has been open for several weeks. We left with the idea that there might be another trip to see it for other members, also to meet some of the other people we'd be sharing with if we were to move in there.<br>
<br>
Given this, I think it best for us to step up our search for other places, so we can have a better basis for comparison before deciding how ardently to pursue this option (or if at all). I'm making some phone calls today.<br>
