While at the Austin Maker Faire I saw the premier episode of MAKE TV, which is due to debut in 80% of the US in January on PBS. They have 10 episodes. Looks like decent TV. (And I have a 2-minute segment in it turning off TVs with my TV-B-Gone hat). So, yeah, looks like there is a trend happening now, where somehow geeks are becoming cool. :) <BR>

For the MAKE TV show they have categories for the makers they show, such as "scientist", "engineer", and for the segment I'm in they created a category called "trouble maker" (meant as a good thing). So far I'm the only one in this category, and they'd like more. If anyone else wants to be a "trouble maker" and be on MAKE TV with one (or more) of their projects, lemme know and I'll get you in touch with the producer.<BR>
