Ditto.<br><br>I've been waiting to see when it gets scheduled, as my time is a bit constrained at the moment. Friday nights or Sunday nights are best for me.<br><br>Or a Tuesday at 6, that way we can get lots of people showing up for the meeting early. Lot of chaos, though.<br>

So a really cool result of the First aid and CPR bit I brought up at the meeting last night, Michael stepped up and said he'd teach the class in our now-established Noisebridge style: open to everyone and free of charge.<br>
<br>
So we need to decide when. With only 2 hours needed for each, we could start at, say, 6PM and finish up in one night if we wanted to go that route. I think it'd be interesting to hear people's opinions on how and when to do this.<br>

I'm glad to be able to contribute to noisebridge, doing what I love to do.<br>
As for my costs, they are negligible and any donations people would want to make I would forward on to Noisebridge. As for set up, I will need a table to demonstrate CPR skills for that class and means to show a dvd for the first aid class. Neither of which should be a problem.<br>
<br>
Each certified class lasts about 2 hours, in which I include the same material as a 4 hour red cross class, so it's a little intensive. I plan to specifically cover the kinds of injuries and emergency situations we might run up against.<br>
<br>
Also, the classes are a lot more fun and beneficial the more people we have, so please encourage as many people as possible to make it. I always feel best when as many people as possible know these skills. Everybody who completes the classes will get a two year national certification for CPR and a three year certification for First Aid.<br>
<br>
oh yeah, Fun, did I mention fun? my students and I always have a good time in my classes, with plenty of opportunity to laugh.<br>
