The example could have been set up, and taught in complete isolation<br>
with a server tinkered together from spare parts at NB for example.<br>

There are generally non-intrusive ways to learn, teach, and hack. Not<br>
always, but generally so. Choosing to do otherwise is a personal<br>
decision, but one that doesn't jibe well with the way NB is set up.<br>
