It occurred to me that I didn't offer a very good description of what I was looking for. It's a 6' long rod that's 1" in diameter, with a black cap on one end. I left it near my shelf, but I suspect it got moved to around the hack shelves because of its unwieldiness.

If you mistakenly thought it was "free for all" because of it's proximity to the hack shelves and picked it up, I could see the misunderstanding, but I just want it back.

I'm sure a lot of folks could agree that the continued absence of this thing seriously undermines confidence in the excellence of the Noisbridge community.
I was in the space today thinking about getting stuff together for my 5MoF talk on the light staff and went looking for the acrylic rod I used that I was going to give a talk on. I couldn't find it anywhere around the shelves at all. Has anyone seen the staff anywhere? Could you please let me know where it is if you have?

I imagine it could have been knocked beneath something if folks weren't
careful, but on crutches as I am, I'm not able to look around. I would hate to think it's rolling around on the ground as there are a few delicate parts in there. I do hope that folks have gotten over that little destructive binge that was going on a while back where things like this could have been knocked around.

Regardless, could folks let me know if it's there? Without it, I'm going to need to cancel my talk where I discuss how I made it.

Christie

---
Why I take the road less traveled? Oh, that's easy. I'm claustrophobic.
