Also worth mentioning: two members of Project Bacchus wound up on prescription antihistamines for the poison oak they got on our last retrieval. I believe two more people got poison oak from the expedition. I didn't get any the day of launch/retrieval, but I touched my field bag last week and got a few little spots of (much milder) irritation.<div>
<br></div><div><div>As soon as you get back to the vehicle, wash your hands and face well. We used baby wipes; they probably didn't actually help all that much, but might have kept us from getting oils on the steering wheel, etc.</div>

I agree with your thinking. I was going over the worst terrain I've seen in the bay area and the areas hardest to reach were really sharp and very deep drop offs with lots of brush....<br>
