</div><div>Much hangs on whether your Mountain View employer has a shuttle service to SF or not. Since you didn't mention it, I'm going to assume not, at which point my ability to be helpful pretty much ends (since mine does).</div>
<div><br></div><div>What I can tell you is that even with the shuttle, I wound up keeping a bedroom in Mountain View as well as a place in the city, simply because the commute is a bear to deal with if you regularly work late but also have occasional morning meetings. But you really don't want to *only* live down there, since pretty much everything that matters happens in the city.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Also, you have decent biking weather here probably 300-odd days of the year, so being within a bike ride of your transport options is usually good enough.</div><div><br></div><div>m.<br><br><div class="gmail_quote">

However there is a monkey in the wrench... as a loyal son of NYC, I do not own a car nor drive pretty much ever. So, it will take me time to rectify that. Until then, I would like to make use of public transport / bike options.</p>
<p>Knowing virtually nothing of the area, I'd love to hear some suggestions on where to live. =D</p>
<p>Or anything else anyone would like to shout out.</p>
