Anyone have access to Techshop? I have a BIG F'N HUNK of mild steal, 3/16th's thick, that plasma cuts like butta. I can draw up a path for the CNC plasma cutter and we can cut a 50 pound Noisebridge logo or whatever.

I need this hunk of metal out of my house, so this is as good a purpose as any.

On Tue, Dec 28, 2010 at 10:42 PM, jim <jim@systemateka.com> wrote:
i like the sheet metal/magnet idea, for the
aesthetics as well as for control over one's
promotion. i brought in a couple of fairly
large sheets of stainless steel. i haven't
seen them around (hope they're in the space,
used or waiting to be used). the people who
sold them to me said they'd work as white
boards.
