Starting to collect the dollars is still probably a Good Thing since we'll likely need cash for air compressors, sweet rotary attachments, etc. even if we do win the Epilog (and, as long as the donors are cool with giving their cash for those types of things).<br>

I said this in the other thread, but it bears repeating. It seriously makes sense to wait until the instructables contest ends. I know waiting to order something like this is painful (trust me, I'm as impatient on new toys as they come, I constantly refresh tracking info pages and often pay for overnight shipping), but a 1 in 30 chance of winning an $8000 laser cutter is worth waiting for. I know having two would still be useful, but I'd rather spend the 2 grand we've raised on accessories or something else.<div>
