I'm at NB a lot during the day, and I don't know of anyone who has been inconvenienced by Isky, or his computer.

People who hold classes in that classroom don't seem to have any issues, they just hold their classes.

People who use his computer don't seem to have issues, he doesn't interrupt them and they carry on.

All of my interactions with him have been positive, and he seems to be a good presence in the space. He does seem to take care to make his conduct "excellent".

Frankly if someone were telling me to change my behavior, when it was not causing any harm or inconvenience, I would blow them off too.

I'm not particularly bothered by whether other people in the space are doing projects or not. It's more fun and better for the space if people are doing interesting projects, but it is no skin off my back if they are just on Facebook, or playing games. I'm not going to invest the time and effort to audit the worthiness of what people do in the space, as long as they stay out of my hair. There are a LOT of people at Noisebridge who don't seem to have projects, and it is not my role to harass them for it. Maybe they're taking a break, maybe they're thinking.

Rather than try to change everyone else, it would be easier if Isky
moved his computer out of the classroom, or just moved it home instead
of using Noisebridge as his personal long-term storage for his
larger-than-a-member-shelf things.

Isky was asked by multiple people to move his computer somewhere else,
and he just blows them off. Isky gets asked by multiple people to
actually work on projects instead of just using the space as his
living room, and he just blows them off. I don't think the problem is
people not being assertive enough with him.

Isky is going to continue to do whatever he wants. Sometimes that fits
well with others, sometimes it doesn't. But that doesn't influence
Isky's behavior.
