Hey Chris,

You didn't include your friends' email addresses. Could you please forward to them that I'd be interested in this, if they'd be interested in what I do.

As well as TV-B-Gone remote controls (a keychain that turns off TVs in public places), I have a bunch of kits that I created that are simple enough that total beginners who've never made anything before can complete them successfully, and they are intriguing enough that people who've never made anything before will be motivated to go for it, and also intriguing enough that even experts make them. More info on my projects are on my website:
Thanks,
Mitch.

Hey all,

The History channel is doing a new TV show on inventors/inventions
and needs... inventors with inventions! The show's hosts are sifter-
locals Garrett and Reichart. Deadline for submission is imminent, so
if you're feeling inventy--or know someone cool who is--read now:

>>> We've just received the green light from the History Channel, and will
>>> be shooting twelve episodes, beginning the end of this month. In the
>>> show, Garrett and Reichart will be interviewing inventors and
>>> checking out their prototypes. We have some flexibility, but are
>>> mostly looking for "amateur" inventors, making cool stuff in their
>>> garage. The wilder the inventions the better. We're open to
>>> electronics, and even software, but really like contraptions and
>>> gadgets, which tend to come off better on television. Garrett and Reichart
>>> will basically do a lot of playing, testing, and talking with inventors about
>>> their inventions, including criticism and potential uses. We're also after
>>> the inventors' personal stories -- what motivates them, and how they
>>> came up with their inventions. And, I know this sounds ridiculous, but
>>> email introduction needs to get to the producers within the next day or
>>> so since casting ends this Friday...

_______________________________________________ Noisebridge-discuss mailing list Noisebridge-discuss@lists.noisebridge.net https://www.noisebridge.net/mailman/listinfo/noisebridge-discuss
