If you think a cleaning service is going to help decrease the number of flies or food left out, then please chip in. If you think another solution is appropriate for the kitchen, please start another thread (which you can do by changing the subject line) and float ideas.<br>
<div><br></div><div>My feelings go roughly like this: there are new people coming into Noisebridge every day. Their opinions of Noisebridge are usually formed in five minutes or less. First impressions matter, and even if the cleaning service just manages to clean the floor of the dirt and grime that piles up, it'll be a big help.</div>

I agree with this. I also noticed an increasing number of flies in the space. this says to me that people are leaving food and other things out too long. We need ot take are of that as soon as possible as it makes everything else gross. <br>

Possible sickness from the kitchen area concerns me enough that I am afraid to eat anything that comes out of there presently.<br>And I think about what if some group of people got really sick ? It is a definite possibility. Some people are more susceptible to these things or suffer greater consequences as a result.<br>
<br>Also it is not always obvious if you do get sick where you got it from, you may think you have the flu when it is actually due to food poisoning.<br><br><br>Possibly a person with experience in this area could go through it at least once daily, another possibility is they could run some training for those without restaurant experience ...<br>
