Maybe something akin to Amazon Prime would resonate, but for people that want to do "will call" during specific weekend times.  Pay for the service in advance, have it available when you need it.  Jameco covers enough of their extra costs to cover the difference in costs for a skeleton weekend staff and does so in a low-risk way, everyone wins.<br>
