<br></div><div>Also: If there are things that need to be taken apart, that might make a fun kid's event or activity. My kids love pulling stuff apart, and although they usually finish before all the stepper motors are pulled, it's almost always a lot easier to get them once they've finished.</div>

AFAIK it costs ~$9 to recycle a CRT properly, which is what led Goodwills in Washington state to stop taking them. (as they have a strong policy of correctly recycling things) </div><div> </div><div>Doesn't California have a tax now however that covers recycling costs, so that california residents get free monitor recycling?</div>
