<div dir="ltr">That requires an app on the PC you're tethering with (it's not wifi tethering), but it works, and the developer is cool and supports the open source community.<div><br></div><div style>I was going to comment on this earlier, but really ANY android phone that you can install cyanogenmod or AOSP/AOKP on will work for WiFi tethering (those builds will have tethering included - it's actually part of stock android but carriers remove it).</div>
<div style><br></div><div style>Also, if you want Wifi tethering, that can use a lot of power - sometimes more power than a charger normally can provide, meaning that even plugged in, the phone's battery might drop or even die with heavy use. Most likely though that won't really happen.</div>

I think Sprint might still allow unlimited data, but I'm not sure.</div><div style><br></div><div style>I tether all the time with my Galaxy Nexus on Verizon without any tethering data plan and no one ever seems to notice, so I think the only issue is finding a carrier that will give you unlimited data.</div>
