Saturdays are fine as far as I know. �I just used Friday as something to get things rolling. �I've confirmed bands for March 29 or 30th so that can be set unless we want to take longer, in which case I'll ask people all over again. �Please keep all posts to the list; thanks.<div>

Since you are trying to raise money, IMHO the art show with auction<br>

and in buying art. �Or are you just trying to attract people only<br>
from within the NB community who have the ability to contribute<br>
towards NB? �Then having bands may work better.<br>

I agree smaller bands with less equipment are better.<br>

Has someone been compiling a list of local Geek/Hacker VIPs with<br>
money or who have friends with money that we should be inviting<br>
to these events? �Each of us knows a few people who when properly<br>
motivated will make donations, buy art, or say nice things about<br>
us when appropriate. �Sending them invatations is a way to remind<br>
them we exist, and that we need support from the local community.<br>
<br>
Until you do several of each type of event, you won't have<br>
hard data regarding what works best in terms of raising money,<br>
and what NB people like better.<br>
