while from quite far away, and I agree that a mural full of proper
Noisebridge Excellence would be a excellent idea. I should not,
for context, that the Hacking Ethics mural is nearly worshipped;
everyone who wishes to be a Hacker is customarily taken to the
Ethics first and made to read them in detail, attempting to cement
True Hacking Ethics in everyone who ever hacks at all. On the
other hand, there's also some aura around the Ethics, saying that
"Hacking is illegal, but if you get caught and are following the
ethics, you'll be punished less." I'm not sure such a aura can be
easily replicated when participating at Noisebridge is not
illegal.

I would propose, as a potential solution for sleepers making the
space less habitable for those awake, something I've seen
implemented with some success: "You can nap here, but everyone
else is duty-bound to completely ignore you, and are duty-bound to
be as loud as if you were awake, and you are duty-bound not to
complain about noise because the purpose of the space is primarily
not sleeping." I don't know if this is something currently
implemented, having never attempted to sleep at nb, but I do
believe it fits 'be excellent to each other'.
pick your nose may not have happened to someone else.

• We are a product of the environment with which
we surround ourselves.

we each have varying reactions to external inputs.

poorly, and so these email threads are preaching to the

fall to pieces...).
