Unfortunately you'd need one of the existing boards to reverse-engineer<br>
and those are very hard to get ahold of.<br>
<br>
I'd recommend starting out with one of the standard CHM projects,<br>
soldering a through-hole project like a boarduino or a Trippy or a<br>
TV-b-gone, as your first project. Then use an multimeter + oscilloscope<br>
to reverse-engineer the chip pin-out on your project, finding the Vcc<br>
and ground and PWM pins, so you get some experience with the skills<br>
needed for a more sophisticated effort like reversing an ASIC miner.<br>
