I ended up giving a multimeter tutorial to two kids, aged about
10 and 15. Their mom was sitting next to us. Really smart kids,
they instantly understood scales and the difference between AC
and DC. (their dad's an engineer).
We have no leaded solder at NB.
This is not for CHM, but for general electronics hacking at NB. The
agreement among us peeps who hack electronics at NB regularly is
that a $10/month fund for the NB electronics area would help a LOT.
Many components are very cheap. For example, we can buy 40 banana
plugs (needed) or 500 resistors (needed in specific values), etc.
