<div dir="ltr">Jake, do you have any connections to the various metalworking shops in Oakland? It would be nice to make an 11ty billion ton donation box. Cash money $$ bill is a definite goal of your average mission sketchball. We can at least make them work for it. They hate that.<div>
<br></div><div>Btw, freespace used to close at night. "<span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px">the storm of oogles coming to live at noisebridge" was happening every night. Only then, at least they were at least well rested and fed when they arrived. Now, lots of hackers are travelling, and the oogles will try to stay forever. But, this seems to happen every defcon anyway.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-family:arial,sans-serif;font-size:13px"><br></span></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif">Last night was awesome. I don't know if I will make it tonight, but I highly suggest anyone who hacks during "the other 9-5" to grab your friends and hang out. There were a few good projects going on, and we showed a noobie around. He seemed grateful to have a free place with wifi to hack on things. I spent some time explaining our culture, and it seemed better than just doing a tour.</font></div>
<div><font face="arial, sans-serif"><br></font></div><div><font face="arial, sans-serif">The other 2 nights, the oogles were somewhat coordinated. They didn't seem to have a problem going up and down the stairs to open the door. Most of them just crashed out. Having hackers around seems to help.</font></div>

the pink plexiglass box full of change and sometimes actual cash and cheques. It's gone. I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.<br>
<br>
The last time this happened it was the big metal mailbox thing that was supposed to be more secure than the plexiglass thing (which was very broken and easily reached into). The big metal box was harder to get inside of without picking the lock, but it wasn't bolted down so it disappeared.<br>
