you are not bending over backwards (if ever there were a metaphor in need of being taken out back and shot, it's "bending over backwards"), you're barely considering anyone's actual words and moving forward with all you're doing at as brisk a pace as possible.</p>

for example, this repeated claim of goalpost moving (another tortured metaphor, poor thing) as if turnout wasn't fifty percent and the process want called out as being rushed and too quiet by people who are not kevin. as if mitch hasn't just voiced his own concerns, on list, which he'd already voiced to you privately.you keep speaking as though only one or two people object when that is clearly not the case -- this mischaracterizes the opposition entirely, and doing so while claiming you're going through so many pains to move the conversation forward is nothing short of emotionally manipulative. that is unethical and that is acting in bad faith.you can stop anytime.</p>
