Not me. I said I'd be assessing the state of the kitchen for one
week starting today, and that if it was a hazard on average, it
would be fixed with a sledge hammer. I was cautiously optimistic to
hear that people were working on cleaning it up. Also, a sledge
hammer would have made a much bigger hole.<br>

depending on the stove, and if it's unsafe to use, it
shouldn't be used. I think you did the right thing
considering the risks. I just hope no one goes through the
trouble to undo your work and bring it back online without

the stove with a community member who uses the
stove. I had originally decided to not do
anything other than say maybe we should just use
half the stove. Then I took a closer look and
said NOPE that isn't a good idea to leave this
running. I then disabled it. It was a much
longer than necessary conversation. This person
also knew of the issues at least on saturday and
did nothing to resolve it (fix it, disable it,
call someone). I think we need to spend some
more time with the community and teaching the
community standards of Doocracy and be
excellent. I was a little un excellent in
handling this situation. I need to work on
that. </div>

circuit. Even

would appear
that the
tempered glass
on top of the
stove has been
broken. The
way in which
it is broken
means liquids
can easily get
to the heating
element and
the circuit
board that
controls the
stove. We
will either
need to
replace the
top glass with
a new one, get
a different
stove or take
it out
altogether.
In the short
term, I have
disabled the
circuit
breaker, put
up a few signs
with my phone
number and
finally Sid
made it so
that the stove
can't just be
turned on by
flipping the
circuit
breaker. This
is a pretty
major safety
hazard right
now and we
should deal
with this
along with the
building
inspector
stuff post
