It is designed as a 'hit the ground running' course to use the built in features of the Python language. We hope to make it valuable for people looking to use Python regardless of the depth of their programming knowledge. The philosophy that the course is following is that we can appeal to a broader audience who might not be able to make it every week, and avoid the feeling of being 'left behind'. Then if we run a cycle of courses, people can 'fill in the gaps' every 6-10 weeks depending on what they've missed (or outright skip the courses they don't find interesting). Since NB seems to get a lot of drop-ins, this approach could reach a lot of people.</div>
