Sorry I have my email frequency set to daily digest and did not see the questions. I have not planned anything, just wanted to make sure no one has problems with a company off site at Noisebridge before I start putting work into this.<div><br></div><div>It would only be one day and I'm not sure how many hours or which hours (I think this is up to us and what material we end up planning for it). It would be 2-3 months from now.</div><div><br></div><div>They said 8-30 people depending on what we can accommodate and I know they want a laser training to be part of it.</div><div><br></div><div>I don't know what their expectations are of things working (though the person who asked is a member of NYC Resistor and knows a bit about Noisebridge history). I'm sure we can manage those expectations with good communication. I would also prefer that they don't expect privacy and being able to talk about confidential company information because it's a public space and other people should be able to use the space while the company people are there.</div><div><br></div><div>Kevin and Jim: do you have any specific qualms related to these questions? My intention is to understand if the Noisebridge community would not be ok with a company at Noisebridge before I start planning. The person who asked is based in NYC but would come down for the off site.</p>

No one has said anything yet so I'm thinking it's probably fine, and two people have volunteered to help. <div dir="ltr">Someone at a large tech company (with at least one employee who is a regular member at the space) is inquiring about having a company off site at Noisebridge, including a laser training class. They are of course willing to donate money. This
would not exclude other people from being in the space at the same time.

<div>The person wants this to happen because Noisebridge is a great resource quite close to the company, and it would be good for other co-workers to be introduced to the space. Some of them have expressed interest in laser cutting already.</div>
