I just realized I'm going to be in Monterey next week, won't be able to make the meeting, so here's my update: I got the low power linux box ( slug, NSLU2) running, we can hook up whatever sensors we want to use (http://linuxaria.com/howto/arduino-serial-ethernet-nslu2?lang=en%29, a cam with either streamer or webcam (modules already installed, http://nslu2guide.blogspot.com/2010/01/webcam-on-slug.html%29. It's probably best to upload/store them elsewhere since it's a bit limited -- I am happy to pass along login details to anyone who wants them.<br>
