Hey all, I wont be able to make it tonight...stuck working late. boo. i checked the chamber saturday. blocks are much more moist and healthy safter sealing the chamber with tape....almost looked too misty? fruiting pretty nicely tho. filled the humidifier which was about to the "fill tape". let me know how it goes with PF cakes!<div>

I've been to the last two years because there are more people there who seem to know something about cultivation rather than only identification--which is cool because I have noticed that people good at identification are a lot more common than experienced growers of a variety of species. Anyway, if any of you want to get together to attend, let me know so we can car pool from my place across the hills.<br>

<div>Greetings Funladies and Fungis,<div>This coming Monday, Ray will be showing us how to <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.shroomery.org/5139/What-is-a-PF-cake" target="_blank">make PF Cakes</a>! This will be a project you can take home! Everyone who participates will have the opportunity to take home and inoculate their own cake! Please bring a 1/2 pint mason jar, if you have one! We'll gather around 7-730p for tastebridge. PF cakes will be happening around 8p or so after the meal.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Here's an update from this weeks gathering:</div><div><ul><li>Dana, the Excellent is working on the Arduino/humistat output. It seems likely we'll be able to log data and check signals via the web!</li>
<li>Matthew will be bringing a webcam this week for future monitoring hack</li><li>Alan and Matthew both gathering wood chips for the next inoculation.</li><li>Ray is making grain spawn for Lion's Mane. We'll be making wood bags for these after the New Year!</li>
<li>the Mt. Shasta mushroom forage/gathering is at the end of May!</li><li>We're looking for plywood and foamboard to insulate the fruiting chamber as well as an old cooler to store mycelium</li><li>We're still investigating moving the chamber. It seems possible we could place it between pole 9 and 11 on the N wall next to the other tastebridge shelves. We intend to talk to Robert, Milo, et all.</li>
