digitalarchivists@lists.noisebridge.net is a list for archivists and associated friends to use for organizing archivist activities at Noisebridge. Our first projects are to bring bookscanners into the Noisebridge hackerspace and to introduce users in their operation and use. We use this list to organize two ongoing bookscanner projects, in addition to discussing newer alternative archivist tools. We will use this list to instruct in the use of archivist tools, promote sharing, exploring shared distribution and secure storage of various content types along the way We will use this list to research and develop alternative hardware archivist tools that can be shared and spread among hackerspaces and similar institutions interested in digital archivism. Using Digitalarchivists
To post a message to all the list members, send email to digitalarchivists@lists.noisebridge.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Digitalarchivists
Subscribe to Digitalarchivists by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
