Hey Everyone,

Wanted to invite all the biocurions and noisebridge folks to this hacker dojo Meetup.  

Professor Steven Brenner from Cal and some friends are coming to talk about the cutting edge of interpreting genomic data and are looking for some help to improve it.  

The annual CAGI (Critical Assessment of Genome Interpretation) contest and conference is held in SF in december. Prof Brenner is looking to introduce the tech side of the bay area ; programmers, biotech and analysts to come and look at these problems and hopefully even join in the competition this year or next.  

The 2012 contest challenges are still to come, but looking at the 2011 challenges you can see what the very cutting edge of genome interpretation:
