There was no notation (no labels, envelopes, paperclips, or notes) to
the contrary, so I presume yes.

Well, AFAIK those dues clearly did have an envelope, and I did not see
one anywhere, so it seems inaccurate to claim otherwise.  I'm fine with
crediting jsharp as having paid in whatever way you as treasurer are
happiest with, as long as we make it clear that leaving money at 83c is
not sufficient in the future.
