[Noisebridge-board] Fwd: [Eventsgroup] Noisebridge at Cellspace 10/9

So this is what I'm getting back from the Cellspace folks. We haven't
talked about money at all. I'm a little bit worried at this point, as San
had offered to put up a substantial sum in order to have it on Friday. I
think we could cover all the floating expenses and hopefully the deposit
with presales. But there's always that time lag.

If you'd like to look over one of our standard contracts, you can
find a copy of one here (word doc format):
http://obsidianrook.com/cellspace/forms/NEW_event_contract_2008.doc
What we need to do is to
(1) Settle on a deposit amount
(2) Fill-in the contract, and get it signed on both sides.
Deposit is required at contract signing.
(3) Do a tech walk through (sound system, lighting, bar set-up,
whatever else you need).
(4) hold a killer event.
(5) Pay the staff charges (security), and the balance of
the cellspace rental at the close of the event.
(6) Clean-up, and go home.
So my next question is, can you pay the full $800 rental as a
deposit at this stage, or would you need to do something like 50%
up-front, 50% at the close of the event?
