Anyone had a chance to talk o the grocers yet?

On the second day of working on the space I got to talk with the owner 
as he was closing out, and asked him about the emergency exit. His 
response to "could you please keep a path way?" was "ok".

Since then I've realized that they have a gate there (no door which 
means our supply of rats is more or less infinite) which is chained and 
padlocked shut. Going down the emergency exit you'll find a vast array 
of rat sticky pads and mouse traps, plus many pallets of fruits.

Anyhow, it seems like my chat was fruitless (pun intended).
