[Build] floor progress, need more putty

   some people have been putting too much floor filler 
on (and thanks very much for doing the work, this is 
not a complaint but a note on use and technique). 
   don't put very much on the floor and then smear it 
out so it fills cracks, crevices, and depressions below 
the surface of the wood. try to smear out any goo that 
is sitting above the surface of the grain of the wood. 
   note that after we're done and walking on the floor, 
we'll be crushing any filler that sits above the wood 
surface, and the sealer and floor finish will be 
removed, not good.
