Hey all,

To learn ruby I started this project

http://www.subspacefield.org/security/hdb/

It's still in flux, but if you want to participate, you can grab the
latest code there, and also check out the history project for how the
design evolved.

Maybe I'll set up a hg repository or something, we'll see. Depends on
interest.

Next major change is to redesign for multiple HDDs - rather than pass
a volume number on the command line, it'll prompt. Right now the
design assumes a single volume, which was kinda dumb.

If you're new to OOP or ruby, then you might wanna read the history
doc to see how a OOD evolves:

The profiling results were a real shock!
