There's this stuff available in Germany called Autin, that works well for keeping away mosquitos, and doesn't seem so toxic. 

Also, remember sunscreen for our geeky skin.

This is still Germany, not Burning Man, so remaining hydrated shouldn't be the problem. But what about mosquitoes? I remember crashing in the HoaP tent the last day of last Camp, and getting badly stung.

Yes there is some light rain in the forecast, hopefully it'll be nothing.
Also remember, it is a vacation, no point in exerting yourself when it's not needed.
