One thing I'd like to remind folks is that once you start wandering out of
Berlin, the number of English speakers drastically drops. People still tend
to be friendly, but will get annoyed enough to ignore you if you continue
to try to speak in English to them and they've made it clear that isn't
something they're into. So if you do opt to grab one of the actually local
municipal buses, be sure you've got an German speaker with you who can call
to make the reservation and also be your spirit animal riding it.

Additionally the local buses are more like a minivan and can only fit 8
people.
