"Happy Cow" is great for finding places for veg &  vegan food (and places with meat, but friendly to the above).  Works everywhere in the world.  Berlin has approximately 3.4 zillion entries. 

The Pro version costs $4,and worth it.

And, BTW, Öffi is fantastic, and also works in San Francisco.
