Some folks at camp will run a telephone network that covers DECT and GSM
cell phones. You two can be a part of this and have a really easy and also
reliable way of folks to communicate with you at Camp. Register your number

What is DECT? They're a standard for cordless home phones. They're also
cheap, like €20 at a Mediamart. Check the link above for a list of ones
that are compatible with the network.

What is GSM? It's a type of cell network. If you've got a chepo old
unlocked phone, you can go to the phone village at Camp and buy a SIM card
for cheap, throw it into your cell phone, and use their network for voice
and SMS within camp.
