[CQ] Elmer day for some midwives?

i've been lining up a "freaks intro to ham radio" class in SF for  
april sometime.
its more of a "why you'd want to get your ticket" demo thing,
ht, hf, some digital, and then of course hmms.
that then turns into a "how to beat the test" class.

was looking at 2 2hour sessions.


the honest best i think your ladies could do would
be to talk to each other on the repeaters.
have them setup "skeds" to practice.
confidence in numbers.
warn them about the trolls depending on the repeater of course,
they will come gruffing out of their caves if they hear a noob,
much less a woman!

i'll post here when the dates/times firm up and see if they'd be  
interested,
i could do the demo part of repeaters with them.
they can stay for the class or not.

my VE paperwork is in the works :-)
