[CQ] Fwd: CubeSat to beam Morse over NYC from its LEDs

Oh, hey, this is actually up!  Catching up on email here, I forgot to
forward this on last week!

The TLEs are available in gpredict, under FITSAT-1.  It looks like all the
good passes (maximum elevation over 60º) for the next week are in the
morning, well after sunrise.

The date has finally been set for the FITSAT-1 CubeSat to beam Morse code
over NYC from its LEDs
The test will be on 12Dec2012 at 0614 UTC
The LEDs will flash for two minutes
you can see a picture of the satellite passing over Korea at

Any sighting reports would be appreciated
