This was fairly successful. I was able to pick up that AM sports radio
station that infects everyone's poorly-shielded circuits. I made the
diode out of some old steel from a computer case.

Reception was very quiet, though. I'm wondering what I could do to
improve it. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. Next step is
definitely to make an AM transmitter.

There's 50ft of wire hanging out the back window as an antenna, in case
anyone else wants to play around. The radio is in the display case at
the front door.
