If you're flying a dipole, just remember that the ends of a half-wave dipole are voltage peaks, so you really, really, REALLY have to keep people away from them. They float at a few kilovolts when you're transmitting at just 100W, and your kite is going to be wobbling around unless it's carefully tethered… it's a safety nightmare at the kite festival, but something I'd love to do at some point (http://forums.qrz.com/showthread.php?61367-Dipole-voltage)
Making a yagi light enough to fly with a feedline could be interesting. I'd probably go for a moxon or hex beam, myself, for ease of construction.
