I have the gear to measure light output from lasers up to several kW, if you guys are willing to temporary provide a sample unit, as I'm in Seattle.

I'd like some, too, if it's not too late.  $50 worth for me.
 
One thing to be aware of -- even if the diodes say they are legal, they may not be (as all of us who bought those amazingly cool, and extremely powerful green laser-pointers in China are well aware of), but can be WAY more powerful than stated.  That's often a good thing, but not if we are pointing lasers all over a dance floor.
 
Anyone have a device for measuring light output?
