It's a pretty good interview. They have been doing a lot of
experimentation with flexible printed circuit boards, most of the shots
of dresses you see in that article have an under layer that consists of
a flexible PCB with LEDs mounted on it, that is then laminated into the
garment. Looks like a clever way to make a conforming piece of clothing
- it it must be massively expensive. I've looked at doing flexible PCB
stuff for North Paw and there are some big tooling charges up front. If
you make lots though the price does come down quickly...
