Apparently it was sponsored by a beer company, and the video was made by 
famous surfing filmmaker Jack McCoy.  Despite searching, I couldn't find 
any information about how they did it at all - I agree with the article, 
it'd be great to know how they sealed the electronics against the salt 
water!
