[Cyborg] bat gloves

For those of you who remember the ultrasonic listening toy that I found 
("Uncle Milton's Secret Sounds"), this will seem strangely familiar:

"I wandered around the park the other evening and found a bat flightpath 
that was conveniently located above a bench. I was able to use the 
detector to pick up a few clicks each time the bats zipped past. A 
really nice moment of making the invisible audible. If you know what I 
mean."

I don't really understand why she is making it into gloves (rather than 
say a hat or my preference, a mickey-mouse-ears headband).  But it's 
still awesome sensory augmentation.
