Apparently Kevin's students are experimenting with magnetic implants, 
and using electromagnet coils to stimulate these implants with 
information from sensors like ultrasonic rangers and infrared 
temperature sensors... sounds super cool!

Apparently it's early days yet so they haven't published many papers, 
but when I did a search, low and behold our mailing list has seen this
