Really cool video showing how capacitance sensors can be made much more 
useful with frequency sweeping.  It think there are totally wearable/AR 
applications of this tech, and it doesn't seem like it would be that 
hard to recreate.  I've been playing with this capacitance sensor:

If you hook it up to a large metal object, the proximity sense aspect of 
it is super cool :-)
